To continuously enhance the professional skills of frontline employees, improve the overall quality and technical capabilities of on-site construction personnel, and foster a learning-oriented and skilled team, the Rajshahi Surface Water Treatment Plant Project in Bangladesh has launched an “Employee Night School” initiative.
The night school is scheduled to be held once a week, with clear learning objectives and structured plans. Core technical staff and departmental managers from the project team are invited to serve as instructors, sharing their experiences and insights with frontline workers. This initiative provides a platform for interactive and connected learning, closely integrating theoretical knowledge with practical work, ensuring that employees not only learn but also apply what they’ve learned effectively. Participants expressed that the night school offers highly practical training content, effectively disseminating professional knowledge related to international engineering. It plays a positive role in improving project management capabilities and strengthening technical skills.
The curriculum is divided into two main sections: engineering construction and professional English for engineering. The training covers a wide range of topics including site management, construction techniques, commercial cost control, and quality and safety management. These efforts aim to solidify employees’ professional foundations, enhance practical engineering abilities, and improve cross-cultural communication skills, providing strong talent support for the Group’s sustainable and healthy international development.
