On January 9, Mohammed Al-Mahmali, Project Manager of Oman NAMA Water Services Corporation, led a delegation to the company for business discussions. Li Zhenlai, Chairman of SHICO, warmly received the visitors. Hamid Al-Shuaili, Technical Support Manager of Oman NAMA Water Services Corporation, and Peng Pai, General Manager of Overseas Company of Hunan Industrial Equipment Installation Co., also attended.

Mohammed Al-Mahmali expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and introduced Oman’s water resources development plans and key projects. He noted that HCIG has a high level of market involvement and strong overall capabilities, with notable expertise in waste-to-energy and wastewater treatment. He expressed hope that HCIG will continue to pay close attention to Oman’s water development initiatives and further deepen cooperation to jointly promote Oman’s economic and social progress.

Li Zhenlai welcomed the delegation and gave a detailed overview of the HCIG’s international business development and strengths. He noted that in recent years, HCIG has actively participated in the Belt and Road Initiative and attaches great importance to the Omani market. He expressed hope for deeper collaboration in fields such as water conservancy and hydropower, new energy development, and waste treatment, to better support Oman’s economic and social development.

During the meeting, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the market potential in Oman and specific cooperation projects, reaching a broad consensus.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation also visited the Group’s exhibition hall to gain a deeper understanding of the Group’s operations, project achievements, and brand recognition.

Relevant leaders from the SHICO’s Strategic Development Department (Enterprise Management Center), Investment and Marketing Center, and Engineering Management Department (Chief Engineer’s Office) also participated in the meeting.
